Summertime?

Granna and I went to the Gaffney Outlet Mall yesterday.  Of course we had to stop in all the baby stores.  Carter's was having a big sale on all their new summer items, so I decided to splurge (especially since "splurging" isn't too much when it comes to baby clothes).  We came home with two pairs of shoes, a bathing suit, a hat, and a pair of sunglasses.  I thought Aubriana wouldn't have much to do with the sunglasses, but she seems to like them.  She wore them to show Daddy last night when we got home and then again today when we got home from church and went outside to play with Allie.  Even though they're a little big, she sure looks stylin'.

 

Portraits

During my Christmas break, Granna and I took Aubriana to get her picture taken professionally.  Here is just a sampling of what they took.  The white dress is her baptism dress.

 

 

Jumperoo

When Aubriana first got her jumperoo we had to put a pile of books underneath her so she could jump.  (See pictures below).  We progressed to just a pillow underneath her feet and the other day, Richard took it out and she could (barely) reach the floor.  She loves to jump!

Favorite Toy

Aubriana's favorite toy, or at least the toy that occupies her the longest, is none other than........THE WIPES CONTAINER!  It's like a "jack-in-the-box," except without the scary clown that jumps out at you.
 

Since Christmas

Aubriana has become an expert at rolling over (especially during diaper changes), so now we're working on sitting up.  She can sit up unsupported for short amounts of time, but eventually topples and can't get back up.  She's still our little "munchkin" in 3 month clothes.  So much for the winter wardrobe of 6 and 6-9 months clothes I bought while pregnant.  I don't mind, though, it just means more shopping!
